Coal the Dog needs a home

Coal is a 3-4 year old Miniature Poodle we initially rescued to enter our Hearing Dog Program. Coal is very playful and energetic but easily excited and distracted by wildlife and other visible activity. He would be ideal for someone living in a quiet area with a private fenced yard. His house manners are generally good and he is crate trained. Coal seems to be more interested in bonding with adults versus kids; although, he doesn’t mind receiving affection from anyone. He is not going to be the right fit for someone looking for a playmate for their primary dog. He plays occasionally with other dogs but prefers to be an 'only child'.
